Director, Medical Claims

Director, Medical Claims We have a great opportunity for a strong Director, Medical Claims with a healthcare background and process improvement experience. The Director of Medical Claims will manage a staff of claims managers, examiners, and administrative staff, which oversee claims evaluation, adjudication, auditing, and customer service with an eye on providing exceptional service and meeting productivity goals. Proven success with leading a large team, quality improvement reporting, KPI metrics, preparing budgets, developing strong business partnerships, and developing subordinates are key to this role.   Local Los Angeles candidates only; Relocation not provided Our Director will possess a minimum of 5-8 years managing people (hiring, training, and developing staff) in the health insurance industry, with 10 years of health insurance claims examination. Other qualifications would include working knowledge of CPT, ICD9-10 and COB along with excellent communication skills, critical thinking, analytical and comprehensive problem solving skills. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
