DESCRIPTION: Manage communications for show Create and implement publicitycampaigns for assigned projects. Pitch national and local print, electronic and online press. Manage relationships and work closely with show creators, talent, production and programming executives and outside PR agencies. Develop and write press kit materials including: press releases, bios, synopsis. Oversee photo shoots and the creation of any art. Compose key message points for executive and talent interviews. Oversee and manage press interviews onsite. Cover talent at both internal and external press functions such as awards shows, premieres and industry parties and events. Build and maintain relationships with reporters and talent bookers. Work closely with the social and promotions teams on daily show items, big picture strategies and campaigns as it relates to press Work well under tight live show deadlinesPartnering with NY and LA colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years' experience in television communications, public relations, and/or media relationsVery strong writing skills (writing samples required) Fluency with social media, computer skills for using photography and video to publicize content Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to generate and present original work and concepts Strong knowledge of the PR field including experience in media relations, press campaign development and execution of creative, strategic and well-thought communication plans Experience in talent media training and executive prep Interest in and knowledge of television business, including ratings, emerging technologies, (i.e. digital services) and digital entertainment. Understanding of the mechanics and business issues of television including marketing, programming, production, research, ad sales and affiliate relations Solid relationships with major press outlets including: animation, trade, consumer and digital. Independent and strategic thinker, able to take initiative and follow through on projects. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
