About Us Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plans is a non-profit, multi-employer trust fund established over 60 years ago as part of an agreement between many employers in the motion picture industry and various unions and guilds representing behind the camera employees within the industry.
Representing almost 80,000 Participants, our purpose is to provide a variety of insurance plans, as well as both a traditional defined benefit plan and a defined contribution plan to industry employees and their dependents.

Our Current Opportunity Our Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs relating to health insurance claims and pension processing.
They will also document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies within our multi-faceted organization.
The ideal candidate will have:

years of experience eliciting, documenting and maintaining business requirements Experience developing and maintaining Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix, and User Stories Excellent understanding of SDLC processes and requirements Excellent communications (verbal and written), problem solving and analytical skills Experience in Health Insurance Claims processing and Pension processing Experience identifying testing scenarios and documenting test cases, executing tests, and leading UAT Experience with business process improvement techniques Experience developing business and system context diagrams Your Responsibilities will include:
Documenting business and technical requirements for maintenance, new or changing applications Working directly with the business to provide technical expertise, and produce specifications for any new or changed technology applications Identify, asses, and document business and technical requirements, recommend business priorities and advise business on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions Run and manage requirements gathering sessions; obtain appropriate IT and business signoff Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible Accountable for the delivery of business and technical requirements documentation Work closely with Application Designers and Developers to ensure understanding of requirements that will be used for creating application architecture and design specifications Communicate technical integration decisions, issues and plans with project team Develop use cases, flow charts, functional diagrams and descriptions to communicate application design specifications Work with the development team to ensure that specifications are understood Assist QA team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans Creates and manages traceability matrix and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed and can be mapped back to the requirements Participate in test results meetings and execute traceability activities to determine cause of bugs, system errors and failures during testing Assist with the documentation, coordination, and organization of production readiness Support projects through all production and post production milestones as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master's degree in one of the following subject areas:
Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology or related field preferred; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 5
years of experience eliciting, documenting and maintaining business requirements Experience developing and maintaining Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix & User Stories Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write concise and accurate technical documentation Experience with SDLC Methodologies Only candidates within a commutable distance will be considered.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
