Job Description
We are looking for a positive, skilled and enthusiastic Massage Therapist for our spa in Studio City! Spa La La is a full service day spa that provides complimentary onsite childcare to it's guests.
The Massage Therapist s job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Analyzing, consulting and performing massage treatments in a professional and comfortable setting
Directing all efforts towards member satisfaction
Performing deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages
Undergo training to perform custom Spa Le La facial
Ensuring room is cleaned after each treatment and at the end of each shift
Utilize, maintain and conduct inventory of supplies and products
Maintain records
Perform general Spa duties, as needed
Design specific sessions based on member s/guest s individual needs.
Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
Reliable, on time attendance. Attends all scheduled shifts, is prompt to work and works entire scheduled shift.
Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have the following attributes:
Must possess a valid California Massage Therapy license or certification
Two years prior professional massage therapy experience is preferred
Cross-trained in multiple services including Stone massage, Pre-natal, Craniosacral, point work, amma therapy, shiatsu, aromatherapy and Reflexology highly preferred
Excellent communication skills

Efficiency and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

The ability to maintain client confidentiality
Maintain professional appearance at all times.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
