For CBS All Access, CBS Television Network?s subscription video on-demand and live-streaming service, the Studio produces the highly anticipated Star Trek: Discovery, as well as critically acclaimed THE GOOD FIGHT. The Studio also produces two new series based on popular, viral segments from THE LATE LATE SHOW, CARPOOL KARAOKE for Apple and DROP THE MIC for TBS; the scripted summer series AMERICAN VANDAL for Netflix; and the comedy anthology THE GUEST BOOK for TBS.
CBS Television Studios is seeking a Project Coordinator to work within the Publicity and Communications department. This division is responsible for day to day publicity, social strategy, awards campaigns and global brand management for over 50 of television?s most popular series across broadcast, cable and streaming networks, including Star Trek: Discovery, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Late Show, The NCIS franchise, and much more. The ideal candidate is someone who is a highly motivated self-starter who is organized and works with in a team setting.
Role Details:
As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and organizing assets and content to support CBS Television Studios series created internally within the publicity department for social, promotional, awards campaigns, and advertising use across various platforms.
The Project Coordinator will define and manage projects and the process, and champion the best ways to efficiently meet goals and exceed expectations.
The Coordinator will create and maintain a calendar, communicating deadlines to the internal designers and creative team.
This role will also work closely with outside departments such as marketing, interactive, and international teams to make sure we understand scope of needs and that assets are delivered in a timely manner once completed and approved.
The Project Coordinator will also need to work closely with show publicists to ensure that needs for each series are met, and that content is on-brand and timely for series promotion.
The Project Coordinator will also serve as liaison with various studio vendors for deliverable assets and negotiate costs and deadlines.
This role will also need to ensure the team is working efficiently, producing high quality assets, and not duplicating efforts with other divisions or teams.
The Project Coordinator will also help assist our Photo Manager in planning and executing photoshoots for various CBS TV Studios series.
This role will also assist the Social Media Coordinator in creating basic assets in Photoshop and InDesign.
Minimum two years of experience in field preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work well with a team.
Highly organized and both goal and detail-oriented.
Able to multitask, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and manage competing demands.
Strong communication skills and able to articulate creative notes on various projects.
Intimate knowledge of social media platforms content formats.
A deep interest in learning and mastering new and emerging software and programs.
Proficiency in Photoshop/InDesign.
Experience with Keynote and Power Point.
Experience with file and asset management.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
