Business Process Improvement & Analytics Associate

Position Summary:This is a technical position with a business orientation to relate data insights for gaining operational efficiency and quality improvement. The Business Process Improvement & Analytics Associate?is responsible for a range of cross-functional activities related to data governance, standardization of reporting and application of BI reports for performance improvement. Activities include planning, facilitating, implementing, and providing oversight on standardization and performance improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Associate will lead data stewardship at MPI by partnering with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand, identify, and standardize data sources and data dictionaries that are used for enterprise analytics, business intelligence, and reporting.?Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage data ownership, accountability, and governance through a community of data stewards.Identify data sources, define and standardize key terms, and maintain a business glossary.Facilitate change management through Data Stewardship Council meetings.Configure, customize and implement the Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) software and Data Quality software tools in collaboration with the data warehouse architect, analytics developer, data stewards, and data custodians.Document, design, develop, and test configuration of Collibra DGC assets.Support workflow development and Collibra Connect API integration activities.Integrate master data management activities into Analytic Delivery lifecycles.Perform data analysis, data profiling, and report development using Tableau, Alteryx, and SQL as required.Assist others in understanding how to leverage analyses, dashboards, reports, and process improvement methodologies for improved decision making.Act as a project coordinator by working with key individuals to implement procedures and data sharing standards.Engage in self-learning, relevant training, applied research, and keep current with data analytics and data governance trends by attending conferences and user group meetings.Coach and mentor lean champions, process owners, and other team members to execute CQI projects and deliver results.Track and report progress for the Enterprise-wide Quality Improvement program initiatives.Understand the current business and data landscape.Perform other duties as assigned.?Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience.3-5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive significant business impact.2+ years? experience in BI reporting and analysis with intermediate to advanced skills using BI tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI, etc.Advanced MS Excel skills.Intermediate to advanced SQL programming skills, particularly for Microsoft SQL Server.Experience with multi-employer software systems who can also serve as a subject matter expert (e.g. QNXT, OPUS, Employer Accounts, Health Eligibility, etc.)In depth experience in analysis, data relationships, data aggregation, and summarization with the ability to consolidate data from disparate systems is preferred.Strong understanding of relational databases, dimensional modeling, and ETL design processes.Experience with developing strategic analytic tools such as performance dashboards and balanced scorecards for senior leadership.Ability to garner trust of the senior leadership team when facilitating meetings to review and problem solve using strategic analytic tools.Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc., or the ability to become certified within 6 months of hire.Experience working in a project coordinator role for the implementation of procedures and data sharing standards.Experience planning, coordinating, and facilitating meetings with a large number of stakeholders.Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities.Experience with data governance best practices (enterprise governance structures, establishing data domains, identifying business critical data elements, etc.).Work experience with health care data is preferred.Strong facilitative leadership, communication, documentation, and influencing ability.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and key stakeholders.Excellent attendance and reliability with the ability to work overtime/extended hours as required.Ability to accept direction and development guidance from supervisor.? - provided by Dice

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
