Set up and maintain accounts for the following groups: customers, vendors, CBS jobs/events, and other unbilled events.
Coordinate purchasing for Accounting Department supplies (includes ordering, receiving and distribution).
Audit purchase requisitions for required elements; print (release) related purchase orders.
Coordinate purchasing of business cards and stationery for the Studio.
Coordinate repairs & maintenance requests for the Accounting Department.
Assist the Accounting Analyst with Account Receivable-related functions.
Journalize transactions in Dynamics GP for assigned duties.
Coordinate printing of Accounts Payable checks. Audit printed Per Diem checks against payroll reports.
Perform supporting functions for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Cashier.
Attend physical counts of studio assets and report results to management.
Maintain Accounting Department common areas (including supplies closet, kitchen supplies, copy room).
Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, reception, filing, correspondence and mail distribution.
Four year college degree or equivalent working experience.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Prior experience with proprietary on-line accounting system preferred.
Minimum five years of working experience.
Must have strong computer skills on IBM/PC in a local area network environment.
Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
Must have strong interpersonal skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
