Member Services Officer (Studio City) ($13.95 - $17.44)

The individual will be responsible for delivering an excellent member service experience to current and potential members. They will be responsible for building member relationships through individual efforts by educating and advising members about First Entertainment products and services.
This position requires Saturday hours.
Responsibilities:
Accurately maintain control and responsibility for cash drawer and specified limits; balancing and securing drawer on a daily basis.
Accurately perform monetary transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, advances, transfers and the sale of negotiable items.
Accurately present account information and perform tasks associated with the presentment of account information.
Assist members with improving their financial lives by identifying opportunities and needs to effectively offer appropriate products and services.
Accepts consumer loan applications, follow up with members on documentation and close in-person consumer loans.
Must meet minimum sales production goals as stated in the Employee Incentive Plan.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Work-related experience or related college experience preferred.
A minimum of three or more years of applicable experience as a Member Service Representative/New Accounts at a full-service financial institution, experience
in a comparable position, or proven success in a customer service oriented position.
Proven success at exceeding goals or cross sell expectations. Cash handling experience required.
Possess excellent customer service and sales skills.
Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Possess thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.
Ability to read, speak, and write clearly to convey information in a courteous and effective manner.
Possess good interpersonal skills to communicate and represent the Credit Union positively with members, co-workers and management.
Pays close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of work output.
Excellent organization and follow-up skills
Flexible and adaptable to change. The Credit Union operates Monday-Saturday.
Knowledge of how to use a personal computer and MS Office products on a daily basis (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Symitar for Windows (Epysis).



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
