We are looking for an experienced Solar and Roofing Construction Manager to plan, schedule and coordinate all aspects of solar, battery, and roofing installation projects.
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

Ensuring that client satisfaction and excellent customer service are prioritized during and post-installation Managing installers, vendors, subcontractors, and parties related to successful completion of solar, battery, and roofing project installations Reviewing solar plans / blueprints to ensure the client contract matches proposed scope of work and ensure it meets NEC code requirements.
Ensure blueprints are designed with company standard installation procedures in mind.
Alert Operations manager of any foreseen issues in planning phase.
Taking ownership of the installation pipeline (procurement, scheduling, crew assignment, quality control, etc.
) Establishing a schedule for project installations and communicating schedule to project manager and clients daily Collaborating extensively with suppliers and installation teams daily to ensure that the solar and roofing installations are completed within the designated timeframe and budget.
Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring availability for upcoming projects and communicate inventory levels with sales department to ensure synchronization between availability and outgoing proposals / executed agreements Manage solar system and roofing customer service related inquiries such as troubleshooting, warranty issues, RMAs, etc.
Develop new SOPs surrounding solar, roof, and battery field operations Identify opportunities to minimize risks, reduce costs, or increase efficiency of projects Assist with subcontractor invoicing approval processes Update the company CRM and databases as needed to reflect current project statuses and related documentation Testing and commissioning of Solar and Energy Storage Systems Performing occasional quality assurance inspections at installations Requirements Excellent organizational and time-management skills 2
years of proven experience as a solar construction / field operations manager and electrical experience Experience with National Electric Code and Building Codes Understanding of solar installation procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability in managing projects:
installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Tech savvy and comfortable using different online tools and platforms.
